Demand-Side Incentives for Immunisation
Helping families overcome access barriers to vaccination.

Project Overview
This project explores how demand-side incentives can support families to access routine immunisation services, especially for zero-dose and under-immunised children.
CMS HARD Foundation works with partners to test practical models such as transport support, facility-level funding, and other non-cash incentive approaches that reduce barriers and encourage timely vaccination.
Key Objectives:
Reach zero-dose and under-immunised children
Reduce practical barriers to vaccination
Test incentive models through structured research
Support evidence for scalable immunisation strategies
How we make change
Family-centred support
The project focuses on reducing the practical challenges that stop caregivers from accessing services.
Facility engagement
Health facilities are supported to improve readiness, service experience, and follow-up.
Learning for scale
The project generates evidence to guide future immunisation programming across different countries.

CMS HARD FOUNDATION
Making vaccination easier for families
When families face cost, distance, and access barriers, even simple support can make a difference. This project helps generate practical evidence on how incentives can improve immunisation access and reduce missed opportunities.
